What is a cynic? A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing.----Oscar Wilde (1854 - 1900)

Heh. Every single blog entry i've read so far has been about that person's day. Seeing that today has been quite a day for me, i shall do the same and write bout my day.

Went to meet co-writer this morning. He was getting his hair cut by the bukit merah gay beng. That guy's quite funny. He's fierce and very, ahem, expressive while talking to his usual customers, but he's got the u know, feminine look. Haha i can just imagine him giving others the middle finger with a limp wrist.

After that went with him to his house for a swim. Well it's not his house per se, considering that it's rented out, but we just went in to use the pool. Fox-hunter was in his anti-everything mood, and decided to give it a miss. So it was only 2 people heh. We thought of calling nut along, but u know, in this world where appearances are everything, it wouldn't do our inflated egos justice to get overlapped 80 times in 10 mins. Plus, it was raining slightly. Heh did laps in the end, sharing the pool with 3 gals who seemed to love clinging onto each other. Reminded me of mating rabbits. Serious la!

After that went to look for model shops. And by model shops i mean those shop that sell DIY cars or planes, not where one goes to purchase miss universe apparel. That shop i will launch in the future. Went to bugis, then suntec.

Met my sis at city hall and ran, literally, to victoria concert hall to catch sof's concert. Haha well done man, u played damn well. But overall the concert was pretty boring la. Honestly speaking, 3 hours is really overkill. And it ending at 11 doesn't help much heh. I would've very much preferred to go for the just for laughs tour thingy next door heh. Oh, and the string quartet was real bad. I mean, i personally don't know that much bout classical music, but i've like studied it for 4 years, so i kinda know how mozart's divertimento should sound. The way it was played was so sick, they should call it pervertimento. Oh but something funny happened. During the interval, al, ys and i were looking thru the programme and saw this performer with the name 'lim ah beng'. We were like laughing and poking fun at the name, which i only thought appeared in slapstick local comedies or variety shows. Then this old man came snooping around, looking somewhat miffed. I thought he was some sick shit, so stared back. Guess what? Yeah. He was the legendary lim ah beng! Man, if you ever read this, ah beng, sorri hor ah peh! Next time treat u lim teh tarik ok ah beng? But aiyoh, got so many name why lim ah beng? Berry funny lor. But i really sympathized with the poor solo violinist guy. Practised so hard then his string snapped halfway during the performance. The snapping sound was loud, but his exclamation of "oh shit!!" was louder. And then his embarassed laughter was even louder! Moral of the story? Do not put your g-string on too tightly, it may evoke laughter and embarassment.

After that proceeded to do something i've been wanting to do for a long long time. Walk down city hall and padang, that stretch leading to suntec. During late night. It's been awhile since i've done that. Super nice place to walk. One day i'm just gonna camp on the steps of the courthouse thingy. It's just damn nice la.

Finally, proceeded to bedok for supper before reaching home. Damn freaking tired out. Will go sleep now. Buenas noches.
